Airtel Has the Highest Complaints in India

Airtel claims that it is the most customer friendly Mobile Company of India. However, the government data shows something more, something very grim.
As per the latest data of the National Consumer Helpline (NCH), the Airtel has shown a dubious distinction of being a company against which the maximum complaints have been lodged. One should also remember that ever since the directory of NCH has been started to maintained, the Airtel has always topped in its category for having largest number of complaints. And now, it has topped among all categories.
BSNL is trying hard to touch Airtel and become the number one. However, despite being so poorly managed, the BSNL has not been able to get this dubious distinction from Airtel.
National Consumer Helpline is a Public Service Project which has been started by the Consumer Affairs Ministry of the Government of India. It maintains an updated registry for complaints and forwards it to appropriate regulators, ministries, companies and publishes it to make people aware. The registry is said to be transparent enough and no one has complained against it.
Airtel needs to get itself out of self actualization bias. The need of the hour is to give urgent attention to the customer complaint redressal system. The management of Airtel has to respond about this.
It should also be noted here that when it comes to providing facility online or offline then Airtel is really a sheer irritation. Their approach to make customer happy on phone or over the internet through e-mail is simply terrific.
